Honeycrisp Maple Bourbon Cocktail
HONEYCRISP MAPLE BOURBON COCKTAIL WITH PUMPKIN SPICE
Fall drinks are well on their way and I started early. You can drink this warm too I dare say, but there’s something about ice cold apple cider that really hits the spot for me. But when the temperatures hit lower than 40, then we’ll be brewing up some warm beverages.
HONEYCRISP MAPLE BOURBON COCKTAIL WITH PUMPKIN SPICE RECIPE
Rim Ingredients
little plate for dusting the rim
a second little plate with a thin layer of the maple syrup
thin layer on plate of pumpkin pie spice mixed with granulated sugar
Drink Ingredients
2 oz bourbon whiskey
5 oz honeycrisp or apple cider
2 tablespoons maple syrup
rosemary sprig for garnish
Instructions
Rim the glass first! Dip the rim around in circles in the syrup, then dip into the spice and sugar mix.
Place a large cube of ice into glass, or several smaller cubes.
Mix the syrup into the cider first, then pour over the ice.
Add in bourbon then stir.
Garnish with rosemary.
