Season of the Burgers
BBQ Cheddar and Turkey Goat Cheese Burgers
Even in the colder months, it’s never too early to get excited about burger season, especially when you can enjoy thick, flavor-packed patties without ever stepping outside. The pre-made selections from Heinen's are crafted fresh in-house using quality meats and cheeses, resulting in burgers that are about an inch thick, incredibly juicy, and rich with flavor.
The barbeque cheddar beef patties bring smoky, savory depth that pairs perfectly with the soft sweetness of King's Hawaiian sweet buns for a comforting, indulgent bite, while the turkey goat cheese patties offer a lighter yet still satisfying option with creamy tang built right into the meat, served on a classic kaiser white roll that lets every flavor shine. Whether you’re cooking on the stovetop, using a grill pan, or baking indoors, these ready-to-cook patties make it easy to enjoy gourmet-quality burgers now while getting a delicious head start on the flavors of the warmer months ahead.

Heinen's American Cheese Singles
Heinen's Thick Cut Hickory Bacon
Pineapple Slices (thin)
Two Brothers BBQ Sauce for serving on burger
Teriyaki Sauce for marinating the patties 30 min beforehand
King's Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger Buns
Lettuce
Instructions
If you want the teriyaki flavor, add patties to a bag with teriyaki sauce to marinate in refrigerator for about 30 minutes to an hour.
Bake the bacon first at 400°F for 15-20 minutes depending on thickness. I bake the strips on a rack within a tray so that it’s not sitting in it’s own grease getting soft. When done, I baste lightly with BBQ sauce, and salt and pepper them lightly as well. Cut into chunky 3 inch pieces for styling burgers later.
Slice cored pineapple, and set aside. (optional)
Set a skillet on medium-high to get it HOT, then add olive oil, and cook burgers to your liking. We just don’t want them to stick if the pan isn’t hot enough. Lower the temperature once it’s cooked on the first side for a minute. They will cook too fast and burn if left on high. When about done, put your cheese slice on top to melt.
Once the patties are cooked to your liking, how I assemble the burgers are: bottom bun, lettuce, patty with melted cheese, bbq sauce, pineapple bacon then top bun.
