HOT PASTRAMI PULL-APART SLIDERS

One of my favorite breads in the world is Hawaiian bread. To my delight, I found out that Heinen’s carries such a bread! They come in a pack of 12 with it’s own cute little packaging wrap.

There’s a special butter sauce that is poured over the tops of these buns to make it utterly irresistible! All you will need for that sauce is honey, Dijon mustard, everything bagel seasoning and half cup of unsalted butter.

Heinen’s has an awesome meat deli that has Two Brother’s select meats like the thin-sliced beef used for this recipe. It’s so fresh and delicious, and goes perfectly with the sweet/savory flavors In the sandwiches. There’s also Two Brother’s Swiss cheese and peperoncinis in there. And we can’t forget the Everything Bagel seasoning!

HOT PASTRAMI PULL-APART SLIDERS RECIPE

Prep Time: 15 min | Cook Time: 20 min | Serving Size: 12 sliders

Ingredients

  • 12 Heinen’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls

  • 1.5 pounds thinly sliced beef from deli (Two Brothers)

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard

  • spicy yellow mustard to spread over the 12 bun halves in baking dish

  • 1/2 cup melted butter

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1.5 tablespoons Everything Bagel seasoning

  • 3/4 cup peperoncinis (sliced in jar)

  • 12 Swiss cheese slices (I tore them to be the size of the sliders so it’s easier to pull = 2’ish per)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a medium bowl, pour the melted butter in and whisk in two tablespoons Dijon mustard, honey and Everything Bagel seasoning. Set aside.

Slice the rolls in half and place the bottom half in a baking dish. I also break them apart almost all the way so that they’re easier to pull apart after baking. I place them in the pan how they come in the packaging. They should fit in a standard size baking tray nicely.

Spread two tablespoons of yellow mustard on the bottom half of the dinner rolls and divide beef pastrami, swiss cheese and peperoncinis evenly all over the rolls. Place the other half on top.

Spread the butter mixture generously all over the top of the rolls, making sure to get into the crevices.

Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
