Naked Chocolate Brownie Cake
NAKED CHOCOLATE BROWNIE CAKE
Are you a cake or brownie person? Do you have to choose? Of course not. This recipe is so simple that you will want to make it all of the time.
You can make any frosting, glaze or syrup you want with this brownie cake, but today, I’m giving you the basics, and that’s all you need.
NAKED CHOCOLATE BROWNIE CAKE RECIPE
Ingredients
1 3/4 cup AP flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 cup oat milk
1/2 cup grapeseed oil
1 tablespoon vanilla paste
1 cup hot coffee, I use a mocha java
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Spray cooking or baking spray on a 10-12” pie pan. I line it with parchment paper for easy transfer.
In a large bowl, sift the flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add the sugar and whisk together.
In another large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla together.
Gradually add and whisk the wet ingredients into the dry. Mix until smooth and no lumps.
Stir in the hot coffee (or boiling water if you don’t use coffee).
Fold in the chocolate. chips.
Pour batter into the lined pie pan, and bake for 1 hour. You may have to cook it a little longer depending on the tooth pick test.
Enjoy with a cup of coffee, glass of milk and or some powdered sugar on top!
