BOURBON LEMONADE WITH GINGER BEER AND BLACKBERRY GARNISH

It’s immediately getting hot here in Cleveland, but we had quite the cold-to hot-to cold-to hot dancing game going on last month.

With the start of June and a lot of yard work, especially in the suburbs, we’re getting thirsty!

With Heinen’s ready-made organic lemonade, all we had to do was mix in some bourbon and ginger beer with some lemon, lime and blackberry garnish.

We made a pitcher full, but see the recipe below for a single serving recipe. It was a crowd pleaser for sure!

BOURBON LEMONADE RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 1 oz bourbon of choice

  • 1oz or top off with ginger beer

  • 2 oz lemonade

  • lemon

  • lime

  • blackberries

  • ice

Instructions

Fill cup with ice. Pour in bourbon, and then the cold lemonade. It’s best you refrigerate your lemonade, because the ice will melt way too fast. Stir around a bit, then top off with ginger beer. Add your garnishes like you see in the photos to your liking.
