Halloween Punch

Halloween Punch

No tricks, just treats with this spooky Halloween Punch that's as festive as it is refreshing! This deep purple punch is bursting with fruity flavors, starting with Heinen's frozen cherry berry blend, featuring cherries, raspberries and blackberries, blended with locally made Patterson's apple cider until smooth. A splash of lemon and orange juice, POM pomegranate juice, white peach tea and sparkling apple cider Italian water bring everything together for a sweet, slightly tart and bubbly drink that's perfect for Halloween parties. Best of all, the punch is completely non-alcoholic, making it a festive option for guests of all ages. Adults can add a splash of Prosecco to their glasses for a little extra sparkle!

The real Halloween magic comes from the floating apple bats! Fresh McIntosh and Honeycrisp apples are sliced and cut into playful bat shapes using a cookie cutter, creating an easy, edible garnish that looks especially spooky against the punch's rich, dark purple color. With minimal prep and ingredients you can find at Heinen's, this crowd-pleasing punch is easy to whip up for neighborhood Halloween parties, family gatherings or a festive night at home. Serve it in a large punch bowl or pitcher, let the apple bats float on top and watch this frightfully fun drink disappear!

Why You’ll Love This Halloween Punch

  • Fresh, Festive Fruit: Fresh, locally grown McIntosh and Honeycrisp apples from Heinen’s Produce Department make the perfect spooky garnish when sliced into fun Halloween shapes. Use cookie cutters to create floating bats, witches, ghosts or black cats for a festive touch that's just as fun to make as it is to serve!

  • A Refreshing, Non-Alcoholic Treat: Heinen’s Italian Sparkling Water adds a light, bubbly finish to this fruity punch, making it a delicious non-alcoholic option for guests of all ages. Combined with Patterson’s local apple cider, blended berries and fruit juices, it creates a sweet, tart and refreshingly spooky sip.

  • Make It Boozy or Keep It Bubbly: This versatile punch is perfect for Halloween parties and gatherings where everyone can enjoy the same festive drink. Keep the punch bowl alcohol-free, then top individual glasses with Mionetto Prosecco for an extra splash of sparkle that turns this Halloween treat into a festive cocktail for adults.

Prep Time: 10 min | Serving Size: Party

  • POM Pomegranate Juice 8oz

  • 1 liter Heinen’s Italian Sparking Water

Instructions

Fill large punch bowl with ice up to at least halfway.

Add lemon and orange juices, and orange slices to ice.

Pour in the apple cider, sparking water, and both POM juices, stirring lightly.

Stir in the blended cherry fruit blend that you made with the apple cider beforehand, and make sure it’s mixed in bowl.

Once everything is smooth from stirring, place your bat apples, or whichever shape you chose into the punch so that they float nicely.

To top it off literally, you may add the Prosecco for the extra bubbly booze!
