Citrus Kombucha Mimosa Popsicles

CITRUS KOMBUCHA MIMOSA POPSICLES

Kombucha. People hardly talk about it. It’s a unique drink.

Other than from the bottle, what are other ways to enjoy it? I wanted to make something that I always enjoy as a snack and a drink - so why not a mimosa popsicle?

This one in particular goes amazing with fresh strawberries and orange juice!

Passionfruit and tangerine, need I say more?

I froze the top portions of the popsicles in the silicon mould for 45 minutes with some strawberry slices in it first, then poured the remaining of the kombucha mixture to freeze for 5 hours.

CITRUS KOMBUCHA MIMOSA POPSICLES RECIPE

Ingredients (this is alcohol free)

  • at least 8-10 slot popsicle mould with sticks

  • 1 passion fruit and tangerine Health Ade Kombucha bottle

  • 1 bubbly rose Health Ade Kombucha bottle

  • 1 container of pulp free orange juice

  • 4-6 strawberries ,sliced thin

Instructions

For the first part of the freezing, mix a cup of orange juice with a cup of the passion fruit and tangerine kombucha.

Pour in about 3/4ths of the way, and drop in a few slices of strawberry in each.

Place in freezer for about 45 minutes.

Remove from freezer.

Mix a cup of the bubbly rose kombucha with 1/4 cup orange juice.

Fill all the popsicle slots almost to the top of each, because it will expand in freezer since kombucha is carbonated.

Place popsicle lid over popsicles, and insert the straw. It should slide in nicely even though partially frozen.

Freeze for 5-6 hours.
